When the life you expected suddenly changes, one of the hardest questions can be:
What do I actually want now?
That question sounds simple—until you try to answer it. “Find your purpose” feels enormous. “Make a five-year plan” may feel almost laughable when you’re still trying to understand what happened to the old plan.
Instead of asking AI to design your entire future, start with something smaller: the shape of an ordinary day.
Before deciding what comes next, consider three things:
What do you want more of in your days?
What do you want less of?
What have you missed having time or energy for?
Your answers don’t need to sound ambitious. More quiet mornings, fewer rushed obligations, and time to work on something creative are legitimate clues.
AI can help you notice patterns in those answers. It doesn’t know what will make your life meaningful, but it can help you put words around preferences you haven’t fully expressed yet.

You are not asking AI to choose your future. You are using it to hear your own answers more clearly.
My own move toward a slower life didn’t begin with a retirement plan or a vision board. It began when I lost my job at 60—replaced by software I had helped train.
In this video, I share what happened when the meetings stopped, my calendar emptied, and I had to reconsider what starting over might actually look like. AI didn’t tell me who to become. It helped me explore a life I had never planned—and didn’t know I wanted.
